Who is responsible for your data?
The saboresterrenas.com website is published by THERD SRL (RNC 133-63250-2), Calle Principal, 32000 Las Terrenas, Samaná, República Dominicana. For any question: contact form.
What we collect
When you fill in a form (tips, venue proposal or listing, event, contact): your WhatsApp number (the only required detail) and, if you provide them, your name, email, language, interests, venue name, message and any files you send. We also record the version of the text you accepted, the date, the page you came from and, if any, the website or campaign that brought you (“utm” parameters).
“Report an error” asks for no contact details: you may leave some if you'd like a reply.
While browsing: we count page views and taps on listing buttons (Call, WhatsApp, Directions…) without analytics cookies and without any personal identifier. To limit abuse and count only one tap per hour, we use a fingerprint of your IP address, salted and renewed daily: the IP address itself is not stored.
On your device only: your favourites and cookie choice are stored in your browser and never sent to us. If you use “Near me”, your browser asks for your location, which is used to sort the list and is not stored in our database.

We never sell your data. We never pass your number, email or name to advertising platforms.
Who can access it
- THERD SRL staff authorised to handle requests (access protected by two-factor authentication);
- JARVIS, THERD SRL's internal contact management tool, which receives your requests over a secure connection;
- our hosting provider, Hostinger International Ltd.;
- WhatsApp (Meta), when we talk to you on that app;
- partner venues do not receive your number: if you accept their offers, we send them to you ourselves.
Some of these providers may process data outside the Dominican Republic or the European Union; we choose providers offering appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- tips subscription: until you unsubscribe;
- inactive requests and contacts: deleted or anonymised after 24 months without contact;
- submissions classified as spam: deleted promptly;
- proof of a consent or unsubscription: kept as long as needed to prove it.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to a use or withdraw your consent:
- reply STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages or use the unsubscribe page;
- for other requests, use the “My personal data” form.
We reply within one month at most. In the Dominican Republic your data is protected by Law No. 172-13; if you live in the European Union you may also contact your country's data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS; administration is protected by password and two-factor authentication; uploaded files are stored separately and only published after review.
Minors
The site covers bars and nightlife: alcohol is for adults 18 and over. Our forms are not intended for minors.
