How we rate
What we show
- The Google rating, when the official Google Maps Platform API is enabled: average rating and number of reviews, always with the source and the date it was checked. This data is cached only as long as Google's terms allow, then refreshed.
- Never a rating copied from another site, secretly calculated by us or sold to a venue.
If a place has no rating, we don't invent one: the listing simply doesn't show it. In lists sorted by rating, unrated places come last.
Sabores Terrenas reviews
Our own review system is planned but switched off. If it is switched on, every review will be moderated, dated and tied to a visit, and the rating will always show its number of reviews.
Our independence
No venue can pay to improve its rating or its position in a list. Paid placements are kept separate and labelled Sponsored.
